I’m a Calgary-based leader, business coach, and digital media producer who has spent my career helping people and organizations grow through the power of story. Whether I’m coaching an executive team, designing a leadership program, or producing a film, my work is grounded in a belief I’ve carried since childhood: stories can spark courage, build connection, and inspire meaningful change.
Today, I serve as Director of Learning Solutions at McLean & Company, where I coach and train leaders from some of the largest organizations across North America, Australia, and Europe. I’m also the Founder and Principal Consultant of Ayla Consulting, where I partner with organizations to design scalable programs that elevate people, culture, and impact. Over the past decade, I’ve coached more than 400 businesses, earning a reputation as a trusted strategist and sought-after speaker.
My path here has been anything but traditional. I started out as a public school teacher. I founded Worldviews Productions to tell stories of innovation and resilience, including co-directing The Secret Marathon, an award-winning documentary that captured the courage of the first women to run a marathon in Afghanistan. That story grew into The Secret 3K, a global run/walk event now held in 27 countries and championing gender equality worldwide. I’ve worked in private, pubic and not-for-profit organizations and have seen the difference that great leadership can make in helping us to build strong communities.
I hold a Master’s in Digital Media, and I remain deeply passionate about how storytelling, technology and business—when used wisely—can shift cultures, strengthen communities, and empower leaders.
At home, I’m an avid runner, reader, and artist. These habits are made possible through the support of my husband Leor who partners with me to raise our 3 year old and 5 year old kiddos who also love to run, as long as there are frequent breaks to pick up leaves, sticks and of course, eat more snacks.
